MOIST S - Microwave Sensing Head for Moisture Measurement in deep material zones:

The robust sensing head is used for moisture measurements in solids and bulk goods. It covers a cylindrical measurement volume of 40 to 50 l is desired. MOIST S is a radiation field microwave applicator with penetration of the microwave up to 80 cm into the material.

Because of the high penetration depth the sensing head will be calibrated only on customers request. It is suited best for relative measurements in very thick materials.

MOIST S can be combined with the microcontroller based handhelds of the MOIST series. In combination with other sensing heads of the MOIST series material investigation in different depth layers is possible.
